Inder Buttar is a registered nurse, an teacher, a youth mentor, and an advocate for community wellbeing. She has led a quality-of-life project in Ottawa aimed at improving care facilities for veterans and seniors. These experiences deepened her understanding of compassion, service and responsibility. She also helps manage her family farm, which grounds her in the vital issues of food safety, sustainability, and food security. These roles have not only shaped her values but also given her the tools to stay calm under pressure, make thoughtful decisions, and truly listen to the needs of others. 

Her connection, however, to the iconic “City by the Sea” began much earlier—over sandcastles and gelato. Even then, she felt the city’s unmistakable pull: its people, its culture, and its cozy charm. She always saw herself within the community, helping it grow as it would do the same for her—and now, years later, she’s doing just that. Inder is running for White Rock City Council because she believes in thoughtful and people-first leadership. Her work has taught her the value of listening, showing up for others, and building systems that serve everyone — not just a few. She’s passionate about creating a more inclusive, connected, and future-ready White Rock, while preserving its rich and timeless charm and beauty — where seniors are supported, families can thrive, and every resident feels heard. With a steady voice and a strong sense of purpose, Inder is ready to contribute to City Hall—bringing her integrity, care, and action to help build on its ongoing commitment and dedication to serving the community.

Rob Blair is a dedicated Realtor and longtime White Rock resident who deeply values the unique charm and character of this beautiful seaside community. For years, Rob has helped families find homes in White Rock, and now he’s stepping forward to help shape its future as a candidate for White Rock City Council.

Rob and his wife Tracy are proud parents of two daughters, Amanda (Kyle) and Melissa (Todd) and grandparents to three wonderful granddaughters, Audrey, Peyton and Thea. Family is at the heart of everything Rob does, and he wants to ensure White Rock remains a vibrant, safe, and sustainable city for generations to come.
